About GenScraps
GenScraps is the place to go for scraps of genealogical wisdom as well as scrapbook wisdom. Scrapping family history and genealogy is a bit different from scrapping family vacations and birthday parties. Many times there are no photos to scrap. Sometimes there aren’t even documents to scrap. Sometimes its just information, bits of genealogical trees etc. Here is the place where you can find all sorts of information on both topics, some of which is my own, and some of which I will link here from other places, if I find something I think will be of value to my readers.
GenScraps is also about my own personal research, and passing along the lessons I learned from doing it. You will find informative articles to help you with your own family history research, and some of the more interesting stories and research techniques that I uncover.
I will also, from time to time, post some free images for you to enjoy, some for scrapbooking, some for web use, whatever I have the urge to do at the time.
